Recipe Ingredients

1 egg, large
1 2/3 cups Smart Balance® Fat Free Milk and Omega-3s
1 tbsp Smart Balance® Original Buttery Spread, melted
¼ cup organic cane sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp soft gel paste red food coloring
Smart Balance® Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Recipe Steps

In a medium-sized bowl, beat egg and mix with non-fat milk and Omega-3s. Then mix in melted buttery spread.

Add in sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and flours, and mix with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Finally, add in red food coloring and mix until even.

Heat a large saucepan to medium heat and spray with cooking spray.

Spoon a hockey puck -sized worth of batter onto skillet and let cook for about 2 minutes. Then flip and cook for an additional minute or until fully cooked.

Spray again with non-stick cooking spray before cooking the next round of pancakes.
