Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white unbleached whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
1/3 c. Smart Balance buttery spread with EVOO
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped or slivered almonds
1 t. almond extract
1/2 t. vanilla extract
3/4 t. baking soda
3/4 t. cream of tartar
2 1/2 T. Smart Balance omega-3s milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips
dash of salt

Recipe Steps

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream sugar and butter.

Add remaining ingredients except almonds and chocolate chips, and mix till well blended.

Stir in almonds and chocolate chips.

Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet, making about 2 dozen.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Cool 10-15 minutes.

Enjoy.
