Recipe Ingredients

1 pound whole wheat linguine
salt, to taste
4 tbsp Smart Balance® Light Buttery Spread
1 tbsp Smart Balance® Cooking Oil
8 sage leaves
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
fresh cracked pepper

Recipe Steps

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to directions for al dente, reserving 1/2 cup water before draining.

Melt the butter and oil in a large sauté pan.

Add the sage leaves and remove from heat.

Add lemon juice and set aside.

Once the pasta is drained, gently pour the reserved cooking water into the sauté pan and return to heat.

Add the pasta and Parmesan cheese, toss to coat and serve immediately.
