Tender buffalo tenders with just a little kick make for a perfect (and healthier!) party appetizer.
Recipe Ingredients
1 1/4 lb (12) chicken tenderloin strips
1/4 cup Smart Balance® Cooking Oil
3 tbsp Smart Balance® Light Butter & Canola Oil Blend
1/4 cup hot sauce
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 celery stalks, trimmed to 4-inch strips
1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (optional)
Recipe Steps
Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper in a medium bowl. Coat chicken in flour mixture.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. When hot, add half of the chicken and cook until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes. Turn chicken and cook until center is no longer pink, another 3 to 4 minutes. Set aside; repeat with remaining oil and chicken.
Melt butter in a small pan; when melted, combine with hot sauce and pour over chicken, tossing well.
Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
