Set something sweet simmering in your slow cooker. Cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and honey make a luscious glaze for this delicious pear dessert.
1 pound (6) ripe pears, sliced and peeled
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp Smart Balance® Blended Butter Sticks, sliced
Put all ingredients except the butter into the slow cooker; stir well, coating all pears, then place slices of butter on top.
Cook on LOW 4 hours, stirring once halfway through.
